• GENERAL
• PURPOSE: The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) provides clinical support to dental providers and performs all duties permitted under California law to support quality patient care and efficient dental clinic operations.
• KEY
• RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist dentists with clinical procedures and patient care Perform mouth mirror inspections and chart existing conditions Place and remove temporary sedative and periodontal dressings Perform pulp tests and size stainless steel crowns, temporary crowns, and bands Perform coronal polishing and sealant placement when certified Maintain accurate documentation and support clinical workflows Follow infection control, safety, and clinic protocols Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff Travel to other Ampla
• Health sites as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required Current CPR certification required Valid X-ray certificate required Ability to navigate multiple systems and maintain accurate records Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
