Salary

Crisis Response Rates

Mobile Crisis Assessment Responding Rates: $300 per completed telehealth assessment

$500 per completed face to face assessment

Mobile Crisis On-Call Rate

$7.25/hour

Mobile Crisis On-Call Holiday Rate

$8.10/hour

Mobile Crisis On-call Consult: $35/hour

Meetings and Trainings: $20/hour

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

  • This position is responsible for in-home crisis assessment/diagnosis and crisis intervention services to children, adults, and families, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided for after-hours and weekend coverage. Treatment services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), community and telehealth.
  • This role will primarily involve face‑to‑face assessments.

Location

Chisago, Pine, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, and Isanti, as well as to members of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

Schedule: On-call four 12 – hour shifts monthly

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clinician
  • Master's degree in social work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling and must be currently LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure
  • Clinical Trainee
  • Master's degree in social work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling and must have/be currently pursuing LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services and experience.
  • Electronic Health Record systems and telehealth

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, with current or pending LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC licensure. Experience with crisis services and Electronic Health Record systems is preferred.
