Perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties for outpatients under the supervision of licensed providers. Assist the care team in delivering outcome-based patient care using a team-based approach.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, certified as a Medical Assistant, or hold a Paramedic degree. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within three months of hire.
Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image by efficiently performing a wide variety of clinical and/or administrative duties to medical office outpatients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or licensed mid-level provider. Serves as an important role on the care team to assist the physician or mid-level provider with outcome based patient care. Utilizes a team based approach to all tasks.
Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assisting and/or certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Paramedic degree or certification program. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment date.
No experience required. Given training and on-the job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within three months of employment date.
