The CT Technologist operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of the human body for physician review. They ensure the radiology department adheres to accreditation standards and SRHS policies while providing quality patient care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health. ARRT registration is required, with CT registration and six months of experience preferred.

Job Description: Summary
Position Overview: The CT Technologist works under the supervision of the physician, provides radiologic care, and services to patients by arranging an doperating equipment in order to produce images of the human body for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The CT Technologist ensures that the Radiology department meets current accreditation program and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists standards and achieves the Singing River Health System objectives. Expectation is for all performed duties to be in accordance with Singing River Health System procedures and policies, accreditation organization, and governing guidance and publications for health care employees. The Float CT Technologist will be required to work at all SRHS facilities. Graduate form an accredited, state approved, School of Radiologic Technology required.
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. CT Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred. Licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health required.
Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
