The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for physician visits by recording vitals and managing medical records. They also perform clinical tasks such as administering injections, obtaining blood specimens, and maintaining sterile exam environments.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and current CPR certification. A minimum of two years of experience as a medical or nursing assistant in a clinic or hospital setting is required.
