The Laboratory Care Technician is responsible for collecting blood specimens and performing point of care testing for a diverse patient population. They also manage the accurate entry of data into the Laboratory Information System and maintain department equipment and supplies.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy training, certification, or one year of healthcare-related experience.
This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the Day/Evening shift.
Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Training as a phlebotomist, clinical assistant, MLA, MLT, MT or LPN or 1 year experience in health care related work Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory Certification as a Phlebotomist
