Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Eastern Shore - Full Time

• This full-time position covers the Eastern Shore region of Maryland, with equal coverage across our Easton, Kent Island and Denton locations.
• UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers—delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists.
• We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.
• Providers work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.), typically 3 to 4 shifts per week, totaling approximately 12–14 shifts per month.
• Urgent care is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers a broad spectrum of patient presentations, ranging from acute illness to minor injuries.

• Work Experience Candidates must be licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in good standing with the state of Maryland, or have licensure pending approval.
• An active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license are required, or the candidate must be in the process of obtaining them.
• While not required, prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, intensive care, or primary care settings—whether as a provider, nurse, or technician—is strongly preferred.
• We are seeking individuals with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
• The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, enthusiastic about urgent care medicine, and open to feedback as part of their ongoing professional development
