Provide trauma-informed individual and family counseling to youth in foster care and their caregivers to stabilize placements. Collaborate with DCFS and community partners to develop service plans and deliver evidence-based interventions.
Must meet Illinois Rule 132 criteria, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a minimum age of 21.

This program, funded by Illinois DCFS through the System of Care (SOC) grant, provides critical support to youth in foster care and their caregivers to stabilize placements and prevent disruptions.

Mental Health Professional – Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) As a Mental Health Professional, you will provide trauma-informed, community-based services to youth in foster care and their caregivers. This role focuses on engagement, skill-building, and stabilization strategies to prevent placement disruptions and improve outcomes for youth in care.
