The role involves using personal lived experience to serve as a role model and mentor for youth clients. Key duties include empowering clients to be self-advocates and supporting them through mental health services and treatment planning.
Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old and have personal experience receiving child-serving or state-funded behavioral health services. A high school diploma or equivalent and KFLA training are required.
