Description

This contract position is on-site, providing a unique opportunity to engage with patients in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

As a Locum Emergency Medicine physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency care to patients. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment. Your expertise will be essential in managing acute medical conditions and contributing to the overall efficiency of our emergency services.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Perform medical assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals Manage a diverse range of acute medical conditions Maintain accurate and timely medical records Participate in patient education and counseling Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and urgency

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation Emergency Medicine residency training or equivalent experience Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Flexible Schedule: 12-hour shifts available

No call requirement

Support Staff: PAs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
