Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with severe respiratory or cardiac insufficiency. Accountable for professional nursing practice and delegated medical functions in collaboration with a healthcare team.
Requires a nursing degree, Minnesota RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of critical care experience. Candidates must have specific ECMO training or experience and be able to obtain NRP, PALS, and Trauma certifications within one year.

ECMO services are provided for both neonatal and pediatric patients with severe respiratory and/or cardiac insufficiency that is unresponsive to mechanical ventilation and medical therapy. Staff are available 24-hours-a-day for professional consultation, patient transport, or provision of ECMO. Services are provided on the Minneapolis campus.
Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
