Performs routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and accurate technical factor selection. Responsibilities include documenting patient care in electronic health records and participating in departmental performance improvement initiatives.
Requires an Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology or MRI and at least 2 years of experience. Mandatory certifications include ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MRI) and Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Education Associate degree, or Certificate, in radiologic technology, or MRI, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Experience 2+ years Licensures/Certifications ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MRI) Certification Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification Preferred Education Bachelor degree in health sciences or related field Experience 2+ years MRI experience
