Perform standard x-ray examinations using proper technique and positioning while ensuring patient safety and shielding. Additionally, handle clinical tasks such as blood draws, administering vaccines, and assisting providers with medical procedures.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with current state licensure and ARRT certification. BLS for Healthcare Providers is required, and prior experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome.
The Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations utilizing x-ray equipment, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. The ideal Rad Tech is energetic, eager to learn, has a positive attitude and above all else, has a passion for patient care! The Rad Tech will also be responsible for performing blood draws, taking vital signs, inputting medical histories, administering medication injections and vaccines as well as assisting providers in medical procedures.
