The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care and implements nursing standards and policies under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Additionally, the role involves functioning as a charge nurse for assigned shifts.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing and hold a current RN license in North Carolina or a recognized Compact License. Current AHA BLS certification is also required.
The Staff Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care and functioning as a charge nurse according to the Nurse Manager's expectation for an assigned shift.
