Performs specialized clinical functions within the Cardiac & Vascular Department, including assisting with Transesophageal Echoes and preparing patients. Responsible for accurate procedure documentation and improving turnaround efficiencies for EP, Cath, IR, and Hybrid procedures.
Requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, Cardiovascular Technician, or similar clinical role. Must possess BLS/CPR certification and demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
· Assist with Transesophageal Echo · Prep and prepare patients for TEE”S · Provide care to the CV adult and geriatric patient. · Perform correct and accurate procedure documentation · Helps EP/Cath/IR/Hybrid procedure turnaround efficiencies. · Order supplies for Cardiac & Vascular Dept · Transport · Other duties as assigned
