Cardiology Technician

• Schedule: Days/Evenings/Flexible Shifts (either 5 8-hours shifts or 4 10-hour shifts) No holidays or weekends! Performs specialized clinical functions related to the Cardiac & Vascular Dept.

Responsibilities

· Assist with Transesophageal Echo · Prep and prepare patients for TEE”S · Provide care to the CV adult and geriatric patient. · Perform correct and accurate procedure documentation · Helps EP/Cath/IR/Hybrid procedure turnaround efficiencies. · Order supplies for Cardiac & Vascular Dept · Transport · Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent required 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, Cardiovascular Technician, Patient Care Technician, EMT, LPN or a Paramedic is required.
• Knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology of the heart.
• Knowledge of Cardiac Patients and procedures Ability to think and act independently with critical thinking skills.
• Computer skills are highly preferred.
• Current BLS Certification Basic arrythmia course and pass written exam with 80%25 score or higher.
• Graduate of Medical Assistance program, preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
