Job description

Facility Profile TGH is the area’s only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida.
With five medical helicopters*, we transport critically injured or ill patients from 23 surrounding counties to receive the advanced care they need.
The hospital is home to one of the busiest solid organ transplant centers in the country.

Job Summary We are actively recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team at Tampa General Hospital (TGH).
TGH boasts a high-quality, moderate-volume heart transplant program and a well-established mechanical circulatory support program.
The APP on the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team will work closely with the on-call attending Physician on a nightly basis.
Primary responsibilities will include new patient evaluation and admission, follow-up care for admitted inpatients including ICU patients with mechanical circulatory support devices comprising durable left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella CP, 5.5, RP Flex and ECMO.
