Provide high-quality nursing care to animal patients, including triage, medication administration, and laboratory sample analysis. Support veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures while communicating treatment plans to pet owners.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant. A compassionate approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while supporting our veterinarians and clients. Assist in the triage of incoming patients, assessing their condition and prioritizing care Restrain and handle animals safely during examinations and procedures Collect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasounds Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians Communicate treatment plans effectively with pet owners, ensuring they understand care instructions Prepare animals and equipment for surgical procedures Assist in anesthetic management during surgeries Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care Stay updated on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices
