The RN is responsible for administering professional nursing care by identifying patient needs through assessment and planning care. They are accountable for patient outcomes and the delegation of care during their assigned shift.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current Alabama or Multistate nursing license. BLS certification is required during orientation, and ACLS must be obtained within six months of employment.
Education required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. License, Certification and/or Registration: Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license required. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS must be obtained within the first six months of employment and maintained current.
