The coordinator assists nursing and counseling staff with coordinating patient assessments and initiating intake paperwork. They also manage insurance information and collaborate with reception to ensure a smooth admission process.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. One to three years of experience working in a hospital intake department is preferred.
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Admissions/Intake Coordinator to assist the Admissions RNs, Assessment Counselors, and the Director of Admissions with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork, insurance information, and working with Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.
