The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering respiratory care and diagnostic services in collaboration with a healthcare team. Key duties include maintaining patient airways, performing pulmonary function studies, and managing ventilators and respiratory equipment.
Candidates must hold an AAS Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be NBRC Registered. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and the FDNY G-17 Bulk Medical Gas Certificate of Fitness.
