The RN provides high-level care coordination and health restoration for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Responsibilities include assessing physical symptoms, providing psychological support to families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Illinois or Michigan and a current AHA BLS certification. A BSN and prior experience in a healthcare environment are preferred.
*1+ years of RN Labor & Delivery Experience This position includes a night shift differential of $4.00/hr, and a weekend premium of 40%.
Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure, collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
