The Mammography Technologist administers mammograms and operates specialized equipment while performing quality control and maintaining accreditation records. Additionally, the role is responsible for performing pre-surgical needle localization scans.
Candidates must hold a Technical Diploma/Certificate in Radiology and be a Certified Radiology Technologist licensed in Florida. Required certifications include BLS, ARRT, and RTM (the latter within 18 months).
