The Registered Nurse provides individualized care and education to patients based on their specific illnesses and symptoms. They manage goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with departmental policies.
Candidates must have a nursing diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree and a valid Florida RN license or compact state eligibility. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
The Registered Nurse provides care and education for the patient based on their illness, symptoms, and courses of treatment. Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and the practice policies and procedures. This position practices professional nursing by performing acts which require substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied principles of psychological, physical, and social sciences.
