The Ultrasound Technologist II performs diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple proficiencies including abdomen, breast, OB/GYN, and vascular. They are responsible for patient preparation, ensuring image quality for radiologist interpretation, and maintaining efficient workflow and safety protocols.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in General/Vascular Ultrasonography and hold ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certifications. Proficiency in multiple ultrasound specialties and the ability to train new staff are preferred.
The Ultrasound Technologist II provides direct patient care and manages equipment and scheduling for efficient work flow. Prepares patient for diagnostic procedure and conducts ultrasound with proficiency assuring quality of imagescaptured. Performs Ultrasound procedures in multiple proficiencies: Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, and Vascular.
