Cardiology Associates is seeking an experienced PRN Echo/Vascular Technologist to join our growing outpatient cardiology practice serving Mobile County and Baldwin County, Alabama.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies in a fast-paced clinical environment and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. This PRN position requires flexibility and the ability to travel between our Mobile and Baldwin County office locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians Conduct high-quality ultrasonic diagnostic imaging studies Position patients and select appropriate transducers for procedures Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust imaging settings for optimal diagnostic quality Obtain and document accurate ultrasound images for physician interpretation Prepare hard copy and digital imaging records as needed Maintain accurate departmental reports, logs, and patient records Back up studies to EchoPAC and ensure all studies are properly documented Record daily procedure volumes and communicate reports appropriately Maintain ultrasound equipment and monitor supply inventory Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care

Qualifications

Previous echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound experience required Previous cardiology experience preferred Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and/or RVT/RVS certification preferred Strong knowledge of echocardiography and vascular imaging procedures Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and patient care skills Dependable transportation required Must be willing to travel between Mobile County and Baldwin County office locations as needed

Requirements

Requires previous experience in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound and dependable transportation for travel between office locations. RDCS and/or RVT/RVS certifications are preferred.
