The Nurse Intern provides basic patient care and monitors vital signs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment and documenting patient observations accurately.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program and have completed fundamentals of clinicals. A valid CPR certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI is required.
The Nurse Intern supports patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), assisting with essential care tasks and fostering a therapeutic environment.
