Ophthalmic Technician

• General Ophthalmology Tech is primarily responsible for working up patients.
• This position will complete all necessary work up including taking visual acuities, eye pressure, chief complaints, obtaining medical and surgical history, and the completion of all diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

Ensures that all forms are complete and pertinent information has been recorded. Performs Auto Refractions, Corneal Topography, OCT, Lensometry, Pachymetry, Visual Acuities, Visual Fields, Fundus Photography, NCT & Tonopen Understands all equipment and instruments used in the center Stocks all medication and medical supplies by proactively planning work week to ensure completion of required tasks. Has knowledge about medical supplies. Assists in other areas as needed such as front office and anything else asked of you #NvisionHP

Qualifications

Prefer to have some experience in Optometry and Ophthalmology High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Provide Exceptional Patient Experience Min USD $20.00/Hr. Max USD $25.00/Hr.
