Travel Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Operating Room (OR) (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawton, OK.
Contract Details Days, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 8; 0630-3 m-f - 36 hrs guaranteed Start Date: 6/15/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Lawton, OK Hourly Pay: $ 22.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $364.00 Weekly Total Pay: $1024,00 On Call Requirements: Split by 4, usually 2 days/wk, with an off week State License Requirements: Oklahoma/Compact Allowed Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back Rebate - This client has a rebate of 1% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates.
Orientation - Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays.
Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays Traveler Policy: Applicants within 50 miles of facility will be considered local.
Operating Room Nurses are professionals who are responsible for taking care of patients throughout the process of a surgery or medical procedure.
They ensure patients are recovering or prepared by providing information on the outcomes or potential outcomes of a procedure.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and functioning properly.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other supplies.
Maintain a sterile environment to minimize the risk of infection.
Monitor and account for all surgical tools and supplies throughout the procedure.
Help position patients for surgery and cover them with sterile drapes.
Prepare and manage specimens taken for lab analysis during surgery.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly.
Assist in the application of dressings and transfer of patients to recovery.
Perform inventory checks and restock operating room supplies as needed.
Minimum Requirements: 2 years CST experience is required NCCT is required BLS(AHA) is beneficial to have Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
