As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnoses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients on cardiovascular health and preventive measures Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Associate-level experience in cardiology or related field Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuous professional development Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 9a-3p

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 20 per day

Duties: Clinic coverage and echocardiography reads

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
