Great opportunity for an experienced SLP that enjoys the patient diversity in a hospital setting. • Our Speech Therapy Department includes two full-time, and three PRN speech-language pathologists.
• On the acute inpatient units, the focus is on diagnostic procedures including modified barium swallow studies and fiber optic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).
• On the inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient units, diagnostic and treatment focus is more diverse and includes intervention for disorders: voice, speech, language, cognitive and swallowing.
• Other areas of emphasis are coordinated services between Respiratory and Speech Therapy for patients on mechanical ventilated support and neurological patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose The Registered Speech Pathologist or Speech Therapist provides skilled speech and swallow therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
