The Rehabilitation Aide handles administrative tasks like charge reconciliation and supply ordering while supporting therapists with patient transport and equipment setup. They are also responsible for maintaining treatment areas and assisting with front office duties.
A high school diploma and one year of healthcare experience are preferred. BLS certification and computer proficiency are required.
Position Title: Rehabilitation Aide/Scheduler
Purpose & Scope: The Rehabilitation Outpatient Aide performs initial charge reconciliations. Tracks and facilitates return of Medicare Form from physicians. Responsible for the following: faxing, completing weekly inventory and ordering supplies as needed; set up and cleanup of treatment areas; assisting personnel with transferring patients / materials: assist therapist by setting up and cleaning treatment areas; transporting patients from entrance of department as necessary, assisting and / or directing outpatients to the appropriate treatment area as needed, assisting with front office duties as time permits; setting patients up on modalities / exercise equipment per direction of therapists, performing assigned messenger duties, and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
