The technologist is responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety through rigorous screening. They manage the full imaging process, from patient positioning and contrast administration to coordinating workflow and providing clinical instruction.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and proficiency in computer data entry are also required.
