About the Role

Join Home Helpers Home Care-Rochester, MI as a Caregiver, where you'll provide compassionate care to our clients in a supportive environment. Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to client, including grooming, bathing, and dressing. Administer medication and monitor client health status as directed. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Adhere to all safety and health regulations and policies. Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer, Sundowners. Knowing how to calm a fearful client by having a calm demeaner. PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST-CLIENT TENDS TO WANDER AND CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving is a plus. Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
