The Anesthesia Aide supports licensed providers by preparing and applying equipment and supplies for anesthesia administration. They maintain patient monitoring devices and delivery systems for both routine and complex surgical cases.
Requires a high school diploma and 1-3 years of experience, or a license as an LPN, Paramedic, or EMT. BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
The Anesthesia Aide assists licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. This position provides support and for routine and complex surgical cases. The position prepares and maintains patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia.
