The Medical Assistant provides clinical support by performing patient examinations, administering medications, and collecting laboratory specimens. They also manage administrative duties including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and EHR data entry.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, a Medical Assistant Certificate, and BLS Certification. Proficiency in PC applications and a valid CA Driver License are also required.

Accountable to: Clinic Lead
Responsible for accurately executing tasks under the guidance of physicians or advanced practice professionals during patient examinations and treatments, and under the supervision of the clinic lead for administrative duties, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
