About the role

The therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to clients within a residential treatment setting. Key duties include conducting client orientations, managing a continuous caseload, and coordinating comprehensive discharge plans.

Qualifications

Essential

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon admission. Obtains history and presenting information as delineated in program policy. Facilitate process therapy group and/or psycho-education groups. Provides individual therapy to clients on assigned caseload. Maintains appointed continuous caseload of actively engaged individuals. Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration. Education and Experience State of Georgia Licensure in a mental health related field, or eligibility is required. 1 year of experience in mental health or substance abuse field preferred.
