Job description

Responsible for providing and ensuring quality nursing care to the patients of Imaging Services.

The staff nurse uses the nursing process to 1) identify needs, 2) plan and implement appropriate interventions and 3) document and evaluate patient care outcomes.

As a member of the PICC team, this is a professional level position requiring the ability to work independently within the parameters of applicable policies, procedures and practice standards.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential to meet service expectations and effectively communicate with other members of the PICC team, Diagnostic Imaging (DI) staff and leadership, hospital nursing staff, nursing administration, physician staff, patients and family members.

Requirements

Requires an Associate degree in nursing, a current Washington RN license, and CPR/ACLS certifications. Candidates must have two years of hospital nursing experience with documented expertise in IV therapy.
