The CT Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality images of designated body portions using computerized tomography equipment. They must ensure patient care is delivered in a timely, professional, and safe manner according to radiation safety procedures.
Candidates must be a graduate of Radiologic Technology or Computerized Tomography and hold a registration as a Technologist for Radiography. Additional registration in CT, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
The Imaging Services department has the state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment and the CAT Scan Technologists provides quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. Accomplishes patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. This position reports to the Supv, Radiology.
