The RN is responsible for administering professional nursing care, identifying patient needs through assessment, and planning care. They are accountable for patient outcomes and the delegation of care during the assigned shift.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License. BLS certification is required during orientation, and new graduates are accepted.
Overview The Transfer Specialist accurately listens and responds appropriately to requests from transferring physicians, hospitals, inter-departments, and co-workers. Transfer specialist ensures all paperwork and computer entry is checked for accuracy and continually enhances his or her knowledge regarding processes. Transfer Specialist gives high priority to customer service. Required to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:Education:Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Alabama RN licenses required.
