The MRI Technologist is responsible for creating high-quality diagnostic images and providing compassionate, age-appropriate patient care. They must work collaboratively with the healthcare team while adhering to ARRT regulatory agency requirements.
Candidates must hold ARRT Radiology Tech and Basic Life Support certifications. Preferred qualifications include one year of related experience and ARRT MRI certification or the ability to obtain it within 1.5 years.
Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes Performs individualized, compassionate patient care Performs high quality examinations Identifies relevant data from images accurately Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs. Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional Verify patient identification and documentation Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
Required Qualifications ARRT Radiology Tech Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Previous healthcare experience 1 year experience in a related role Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements Additional certifications in Imaging ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting.
