The Registered Nurse provides professional care to a group of patients through nursing interventions, treatments, and interdisciplinary collaboration. They are responsible for maintaining professional accountability and adhering to regulatory bodies to ensure patient-focused care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Oklahoma licensure and BLS certification. One year of experience in telemetry or a related cardiac clinical setting is preferred.
The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, nursing interventions, treatments, modalities, the therapeutic environment and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge, professional accountability and adherence to regulatory bodies. The Registered Nurse actively participates in and encourages teamwork to provide patient-focused in accordance with the mission and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in telemetry or related cardiac clinical setting preferred. As part of our nursing team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care. With low, fixed nurse-to-patient ratios, our nursing team has time to get to know their patients and their families while providing the highest quality, safe, patient-focused care. Patient rooms are fully stocked with all necessary supplies and arranged in a circular, pod layout around each nursing station to streamline patient care and save our nursing team time.
