Perform a variety of patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure a safe and comforting environment. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living and performing 12 lead EKGs.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and current BLS certification. Completion of a CNA, Medical Assistant, or PCA program and 6-12 months of acute healthcare experience are preferred.

Must be able to interact with patients, families, physicians and all levels of staffing an effective manner. Essential Functions: Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environment Responds to patients’ needs in a timely manner Assists patients with ADL’s, including meals, bathing, and hygiene needs Demonstrates ability to perform 12 lead EKG.
Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
