The Registered Nurse provides direct care to acutely and non-acute patients in the Emergency Room, including triaging, assessing, and initiating immediate life-saving care. They are responsible for executing physician orders, updating treatment plans, and coordinating discharge instructions for patients and families.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid Michigan RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must have 2 years of medical center experience and obtain several certifications including ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC.
Certifications and Licensures
Credential: ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Within 12 months of hire or transfer. This is a one-time requirement for this position.
