Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. • Opportunity
• Details: Provide direct patient care in a unit that performs over 4,000 procedures annually. Perform and document complete histories and physical examinations, ordering of tests, and reviewing results. Making referrals as necessary. Documenting findings in the electronic medical record. Consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate. Counseling patients and families regarding care.
