The specialist must maintain relationships with various social service agencies to ensure Medicaid Managed Care guidelines are followed for appropriate funding for 819 and 820 programs. Key duties include conducting consumer interviews to determine eligibility for various benefits, processing applications and recertifications, and navigating multiple state and federal portals for coverage verification.
A Bachelor of Arts degree is preferred, along with experience in Medicaid Managed Care and the Human Services Field. Candidates must have background knowledge with DSS/HRA benefits, recertifications, enrollment/disenrollment processes, and possess demonstrated effective communication, Excel proficiency, organization, and multitasking abilities, plus a Notary Public Stamp.

Maintain a working relationship with the Department of Social Service (DSS), Human Resources Administration (HRA), the Social Security Administration (SSA), Medicaid Office, Expedited and Marketplace to ensure Medicaid Managed Care guidelines, policies and procedures are followed to receive appropriate funding for 819 and 820 programs.
