Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for orthopedic patients. Assist surgeons in surgical procedures and coordinate hospital rounds and diagnostic tests.
Requires a degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with current licensure and board certification. BLS certification is mandatory, and experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred.
This full-time, on-site position is based in Coupeville, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated medical practice focused on delivering exceptional orthopedic care to our patients.
In this role, you will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and assisting in surgical procedures. This position is vital in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible outcomes in their orthopedic treatment journey.

Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Experience in orthopedic surgery or related medical field preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement Basic life support (BLS) certification required Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
Call Requirement: 1:3 beeper rotation
Patient Census: 20-25 per day
Conduct examinations of new patients, write treatment plans, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate and plan surgeries, and help the surgeon conduct hospital rounds
