Provide primary and urgent care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosing illnesses and implementing treatment plans. Collaborate with a supervising physician and behavioral health providers to deliver patient-focused care and documentation.
Must hold a Nurse Practitioner license in South Dakota and be CPR certified. Preferred candidates have 2-3 years of mid-level experience and the ability to pass a federal background check.

Must have a Nurse Practitioner License in South Dakota. 2 – 3 years of mid-level experience, preferred. Pass a federal background check. Provide Indian Preference documentation if claimed. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. CPR certified.
AND RESPONSIBILITES: Prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment. See relatives/patients of all ages. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests. Gather health histories, perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures. Develop and implement treatment plans. Document all patient interactions. Notify managing physicians about unusual or unexpected events or problems. Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families.
Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Maintain confidentiality, comply with HIPPA requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Native American Culture and Traditions. Knowledge of x-waver and Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. Knowledge of Indian health Services RPMS/EHR (Electronic Health Record) computer system. Computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
May sit for extended periods of time Must have the ability to occasionally lift up 20lbs using proper lifting techniques.
