Coordinates comprehensive patient care across all phases of the transplant continuum, including pre- and post-transplant medical procedures. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory bodies to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, RN licensure in Maryland, and at least 3 years of RN experience with specific critical care or bedside nursing background. Must obtain CCTC or BMTCN certification within two years of hire and maintain active BLS certification.
Work Experience Education & Experience - Required · Bachelor’s degree · 3 years RN experience required with 1-year previous experience in critical care or 2 years adult applicable bedside nursing. · RN licensure in the state of Maryland, · Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) or Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN) required within 2 years of hire date. · Active BLS certification Education & Experience - Preferred Provide the preferred education that includes the discipline(s). Provide the preferred year(s) and type(s) of experience (do not use a range). Provide preferred certifications and/or licensures. · CCTC or BMTCN Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities · Demonstrates awareness of performance standards required by regulatory bodies. · Maintains up-to-date knowledge of transplant regulatory policies and procedures. · Maintains knowledge of the principles of ethical practice and have resources available to evaluate the merits, risks, and social concerns of transplantation.
