A valid driver's license is required, and previous experience as a DSP or caregiver is preferred. Candidates must be reliable and able to work a consistent every-other-weekend schedule.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Weekend Residential Position
Are you compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others? We are currently hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support in a residential home setting in Northeast Philadelphia.
Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Assist with daily living activities including meals, hygiene, and community engagement Support residents with maintaining a safe, clean, and positive home environment Encourage independence and social interaction Complete documentation and report any changes or concerns appropriately Transport clients to community activities or appointments as needed
Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED Previous DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or direct care experience preferred Experience working with IDD individuals is a plus Reliable, patient, and professional Ability to work every other weekend consistently
