The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on biological, physical, and behavioral sciences. They provide age-specific and culturally based care while adhering to the ANA code of ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
Candidates must hold a current Ohio nursing license and BLS certification, with a BSN required within five years of hire for most. ACLS certification is required within six months for those in step-down and ICU areas.
